How do bees know what to pollinate? I mean how does that work? They just go up to a flower and they're like, 'Oh yes Jimmy! This one look great for pollen!' and then Jimmy replies, 'Woah Bob! Nice one, I found this one which looks really good for nectar!'... Like say what?! I mean, we know what to do with our lives because we learn from school, out parents, society, etc, etc. But bees? They're just going for it, without any education, on natural instinct lets say. And also, how does the Queen know how to either make a boy or girl bee... like how does that even work. I mean, if humans could decide whether to have a boy or a girl, life would be great, but no, it's mainly all down to chance. And if another Queen comes in from another hive and is like, 'Hey, I wanna take over here.' who gets to be the new Queen? And why are the worker bees girls whilst the drone bees are boys?! The life of the bee is a mystery and I will never understand it. However, it might not be a mystery to everyone, so if you know some of the answers to these questions, definitely comment down below with some answers, and even some questions of your own! Keeps staying beautiful!

Demons in the Night~
Chapter 2:
'Hear anything?' Sky whispered to me. I swivelled my eats around to see if I could catch any noise.
'Hear anything?' Sky whispered to me. I swivelled my eats around to see if I could catch any noise.
'Nope sounds all good to me' I replied. We tip-toed past the hole. My nose twitched and I knew that something was living in there, something we definitely did not want to come in contact with.
'Mari...I have a bad feeling about this...' I heard Sky say. I looked behind me and noticed his nose twitching too. I knew it couldn't be good. I smelt and heard it before I saw it.
'Run!' we both exclaimed. We took off down the winding path that led back to the den. It wasn't technically my den, but I like to think otherwise. We raced through the bramble bushes and into the camp, completely out of breath. Everyone looked at us like we were crazy. That's when I heard that ear-piercing screech again.
'Akita!' I shouted I needed to warn him before it was too late if it wasn't already. I ran to his en and hurriedly knocked on the rock.
'Come in' I hear him say. I rushed inside and started blabbering, not making much sense.
'Calm down Mari, slowly does it.' he said. I took a deep breath in and started again...
'Ahh, this is what I feared...' Akita told me, 'I've seen the signs but thought nothing of them, I mean I didn't think it was possible that something like this was happening...again...'.
'What do you mean again?!' I said, 'Is everyone going to be okay? We're not going to die right? Oh my gosh, we're going to die'.
'No one's going to die Mari...at least I hope not. Don't worry about it dear, I'll handle it.'
'Don't worry about it? Don't worry about it! How can you say that to me? Of course, I'm worrying about it. And you know something else that's worrying me? I seem to be the only one that can hear it! Sky didn't say a word in the forest and I heard it again when we arrived here, and no one look worried except for me'.
'Wait, you heard it when you arrived here?' Akita said, looking slightly scared, 'Oh this is bad. I must warn the other clans. Now go down and make yourself useful.'
'B-but!' I stuttered
'No buts, go!'

Diy blow pens
Now if you're an artist (quite like me) you will know the pain of trying to find somewhere where you can buy utensils for a reasonable price. I was recently looking for some blowing pens and discovered that they costed £11 and upwards, and I just don't have that kind of money to spend, specifically on something that's going to run out in 5 seconds flat (knowing me ( ̄ω ̄;)) So I have created a Diy series of photos of how you can make your own blow pens, for half the price! | Supplies: A sharp knife A highlighter or pen that you're going to use A pair of tweezers |
Take the tweezers and pull out the ink part
Cut the pen in half (or however long you want the spray part to be) and remove the foamy inky bit on the inside
Place the ink thing you took out in the first step inside the spray nozzle
Blow through the place you cut and voila! DON'T BLOW TOO HARD OR FOR TOO LONG OR YOU'LL GET A HEADACHE! KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN AND DON'T INHALE!
Cut out the stencil you want to use I did the Mad Hatter and I used a scalpel on a chopping board
Choose your desire colour (I did red)
Then blow around the stencil, making sure to hold it down and in place and voila!
I also did Alice in blue (didn't work out as well but oh well whatcha gonna do ┐(´∀`)┌)

Demons in the night~
Chapter 1:
As I ran through the forest, I could hear the thuds of his feet on the autumn coloured floor. The sound reminded me of thunder rolling through the Sky. I wondered if that's what he'd been named after. As the wind blew in my face, I started to feel the after effect of running catch up with me. I slowed down, and soon enough, I heard Sky speeding up, taking his chance to reach the finish line before I did. He thundered past me in a wobbly line. I giggled at his silliness but soon fell silent. I'd heard this terrible screech and all the horrible memories came flooding back.
'Sky!' I screamed as the flashes went through my mind.
'Dad!' I screamed after I heard a horrid screech that couldn't be good I ran through the forest, back to our camp.
'Mari!' I heard Sky shout, pulling me out of my memories and into the present. I heard him rush back to me. I saw the terror in his sweet, worried bluebell eyes. He reflected my worry and asked me what was wrong. I couldn't even describe it so all I said was, 'I need to get back to Akita’.

I'm back! ✧٩(•́⌄•́๑)
Hiya everyone! ( ^∇^)
I'm back from my travels (not that it was very far, I mean I didn't even make it out of England). Anyways, what better things to do when you come back from a trip then to share stories!!
So here goes my first one:
Getting from Birmingham to Devon is not exactly quick, especially when you have to stop over for an hour and to a place that takes you further away from your destination. This in its self is already horrible. But even worse, I wasn't told about it until we'd practically stopped. So I didn't have anything to keep myself busy, not even a book. So I had to make the perilous journey to the back of the car which was jam packed with stuff, seeming as we are a family of 5. So once we were on the road again (naturally) I was squashed in the middle of both my siblings, one of which wouldn't stop complaining and the other which fell asleep, consequently taking up even more space. This was not enjoyable. So you can imagine my reaction once we arrived at the camp ground. You might be thinking, thankful, over joyed, etc etc. And I guess that I did feel those emotions until the following things happened:
First of all, we put up the tent wrong because this was our first time
Second of all, I had to sleep at the end of the tent, where it goes down, with my brother in the middle, and at night getting kneed in the back
Third of all, bathrooms, need I say more? There were only 6 showers and 6 toilets and 4 basins for everyone, and there were a heck of a lot of people on this campsite, but that's a story for next time.
Fourth of all, now I'm not saying this part is bad but the following is very upsetting, there were SO many cute little baby pigs my heart just broke, but then the following day, we heard pigs squealing and when I went to go and look later that day, pretty much all the pigs had been taken
Fifth of all, and so on and so forth
So I hope you enjoyed my first story of my trip! Many more will be following! Keeps staying beautiful!

Story Time! ✧٩(•́⌄•́๑)و ✧
So today I have a rather funny story. I was about 9 or 10 at the time and we were just about to leave the hotel from Thailand to fly back to Korea (or wherever we were living at the time). My mom was just checking the flight tickets online so she could make sure what time our plane left. However, it was then she noticed that the date said that we were actually supposed to have flown (yes flown) YESTERDAY. My parents were extremely annoyed. However my brother and I knew that meant one more day of fun. My mom called the flight services and told them that we accidentally missed our flight. They then rebooked our tickets for midnight that day. My brother and I raced back up to our hotel rooms and immediately got changed into our swimming costumes. No way were we going to miss out on an extra day of swimming. My mom then came to deliver even better news, we were going to the shopping mall to look around and eat at the food hall. Now I have to tell you , this food hall had everything. From pizza to sushi and noodles. Let me just say, for a 9 and 7 year old, this was living the life. Anyway, in short, we had the best times of our lives, and we were so happy that our mom misread the dates on the plane tickets.
So that was today's story, I hope you enjoyed it! Keep staying beautiful!

What am I supposed to blog about?! \(;´□`)/
Pretty much every blogger has asked themselves this question about a million times a day before they finally settle on something to blog about. I know that this is a very common problem for me as well. That is why I've come up with 25 things to blog about, because you can never have too many ideas...
- A personal story - everyone likes to know you a little better
- A funny/ embarrassing story - everyone likes to have a little laugh, right?
- Best recipes - no one can ever have too many recipes to consult to
- Giveaways - are the absolute best, I mean, who doesn't like to get free stuff?!
- Top10s - whether these are for movies or books, people are always looking for recommendations
- Short stories - whether they're made up or real, everyone loves to hear a good story
- Lists - much like this one, people love to get inspirational and ideas
- DIY tutorials - people love to make things, even more so when they can follow someone
- Baking tutorials - people also love to see others making something, so they know whether or not they're doing something right
- Post a quote - much like my daily #inspirationalquotes, they can make people feel good
- Post a drawing - also, like my #dailydoodles, they can give people an idea of what they want to draw next, because all us artists can relate to how hard it sometimes is to think of an idea
- Q & As - everyone has some questions, and you just might have the answers, ask your followers to comment some questions they have, and then in another post, answer some
- Do a weekly study time where you ask your followers if they are struggling in any specific topics at school and then make a post with vocabulary, diagrams, etc.
- Reviews- whether a book you recently read or a restaurant you recently ate in, people love reviews because then they can see what others thought about it, and whether it is worth their time
- Learn how to play... - if you're really good at playing an instrument, maybe you could make some tutorials and teach others how to play
- You have to go... - to some country or amusement park you just visited
- Gift ideas - we all know that buying, or even making a gift for someone can be hard work
- Bored... - all time favourite things to do when you're bored
- What's on your mind? - Post anything you're thinking about, from ideas to just plain old thoughts
- Back to school checklist - so people know what they need to bring (some people can get forgetful (#me))
- Best song to listen to - because sometimes you just wanna listen to some music, and that's the time where absolutely no songs come to mind
- Vocabulary - A word a day keeps the brain awake (like my posts)
- Funny - Sometimes people just need a laugh, whether in the form of a funny tweet or just some dogs messing about
- In need of some TLC - whether you're sick or it's your time of the month, some people like to get some ideas on how to feel better
- All about YOU - get people to know you better, I mean more than the About Me section
So there are my 25 things to blog about! I hope they help you out, in one way or another...

Holiday!! (ノ≧∀≦)ノ
Hiya! (。>ω<)。
I'm am going on holiday for a week (yay!) and so, therefore, I won't be able to post. However, I have devised a plan! Mwahahahaha (๑˃̵ᴗ˂̵)و! So on blogger there is an option to schedule your posts for the future, so I have made all my posts and set them to be published everyday when I'm gone. However we have one tinsy tiny little problem...I don't know if it is going to work. However, I just wanted to explain that if it doesn't work and I don't post, don't panic, I'm not dead and I haven't been kidnapped, I simply won't have access to signal (dammit ( ≧Д≦)) so therefore I won't be able to post. Breakfast time ψ(・ω´・,,ψ
Hiya! ⊂((・▽・))⊃
Today I'm going to be sharing one of my all time favourite recipes for breakfast, it's probably most people's favourites tho tbh. Yep, that's right PANCAKES!! BRING ON THE HEAT!
This is a vegan recipe and one that I've used multiple times and found to be quite good! These are for flapjacks though, so if your looking for something thinner to roll, you should definitely NOT use this recipe. (I also have a vegan blog so if you want to go check that out, here's the link!: https://myveganlifestory.blogspot.co.uk)
And here's is (or was) today's magnificent breakfast!
How to have a completely unproductive day \(;´□`)/
So I've decided to do something different today, seeming as a lot of these things happens to me multiple times a week, and I'm sure a lot of other people have the same problem. SO here goes!
Step numero uno: When your alarm that you set last night with the intent of getting up and doing things goes off in the morning, think about all the things you are going to do today and about getting up, but don't
Step numero dos: Think about all those things you were supposed to do today, e.g. go to the shops, pack for your vacation in 2 days, and make a huge really looooong list
Step numero tres: Stare at that list you just made and think about which one is the easiest and which one you should definitely do last
Step numero cuatro: Walk aimlessly around the house, checking in each room for something you don't know about, and open and close the fridge with the hope that something delicious will appear
Step numero cinco: Take a nap for all the hard work you've already accomplished
Step numero ses: Make yourself a bowl of cereal, seeming as there's nothing else to eat, but let it to go soggy because you've just realised you actually don't feel like cereal
Step numero siete: Make up you mind to actually do something with your day because it's getting late so call you friends with the intent of going shopping or go to the movies, but change your mind realising your not actually bothered to go outside and hangup before they answer
Step numero ocho: Mope around feeling sorry for yourself because nothing interesting happened today
Step numero nove: Decide that you've done enough for today and go to bed without bothering to make dinner
If you've completed all the steps above, congratulations! You've officially had the most unproductive day! Keep staying beautiful!

#breakfastime! ヘ(= ̄∇ ̄)ノ
I know everyone struggles and asks themselves about a million times every morning, 'Hmmmmmmmmm, what should I have for breakfast today?'. This is then followed by multiple opening and closing of the cupboards and fridge thinking that maybe something will magically appear that wasn't there before (disclaimer: this doesn't work. Trust me. I've tried it so many times in the hope that one day something will miraculously appear...(。-人-。)). SO therefore I have very kindly come up with my top10 ideas for breakfast. (I'm not promising that everything in here will be to your liking or that you'll have the right ingredients to make them. This is, however, just a list of ideas). I will also link the website for where you can get the recipe for some of these breakfast meals, I mean some of them are pretty self-explanatory, just for your ease. Enjoy o(≧∇≦o)!
• Yoghurt and Granola
• Peanut butter banana oatmeal cookies (or any other kinda cookie you feel like)
• Pancakes
• Scrambled eggs (or scrambled tofu)
• Fruit Salad (I would include fruits such as banana, watermelon, berries, peaches, etc. I would also use a juice to make it... juicier)
• Smoothies
• Chia 'porridge'
• Muffins
• Oatmeal (again, customise as you please, e.g. cinnamon, bananas, etc.)
• Simple toast (or as complicated as you like, e.g. avocado, peanut butter and jam, peanut butter and bananas with cinnamon, etc.)
#or you could just be like moi (most days) and have a bowl of cereal! (●´∀`●)
So I hope you got some inspiration from that and I at least help you get some idea of what you feel like having for breakfast, because we all know what a nightmare it can be! Keep staying beautiful!

Story Time! ✧٩(•́⌄•́๑)و ✧
This is a very unfortunate story. It took place by the canal and my family and I were walking to town. Now imagine a really cold day, everyone wearing coats, hats and gloves, huddling together to try and keep warm. Now when the temperature is really cold, water turns to ice, right? Well, we'd just arrived in England, and because I'd spent my whole life in warm, sunny places, this was a time of wonder for my siblings and I. My parents were quite far behind so my siblings and I stopped to wait for them. I was curious about the ice so I knelt down to try and touch it. Unfortunately, my coat has inside pockets and it wasn't zipped up all the way. So when I leaned over to touch the ice, my phone slipped out of my pocket and fell onto the ice. Now it only took a split second for my phone to fall out of my pocket, but you know in situations like this, your brain and either comprehend something really fast or extremely slow. Of course, my brain being my brain, it didn't understand what was happening until it had already happened. So I tried to reach out for my phone, but alas I obviously had no luck, otherwise I wouldn't be telling this story right now. So I thought that the ice was hard enough that my phone just might have the luck to fall onto it and maybe I could reach down and grab it. However, this was not the case. The ice was too thin and my phone too heavy. I watched as my phone broke through the ice and plunged into the freezing cold water, sinking all the way to the bottom. I have heart broken. All my photos were on there and I hadn't lost or broken anything in forever. I was so shocked I didn't know what to do. All I could do was sit there, staring at the place where it had fallen through. .( ̵˃﹏˂̵ )
And so the moral of the story is don't lean over something until you know how strong it is. Keep staying beautiful!

*clears throat* So, um... let me introduce myself first of all. Hi, I'm Ruby and currently I'm living in England. However, I will warn you that I travel one heck of a lot so I'm not promising I'll be here tomorrow. *clears throat again* Um.. I'm not exactly sure what this blog is going to be about yet, but if anyone has any ideas, I'm all ears. However, I know that I'll be posting bits and bobs about stories about when I was younger or funny things that happened to me and also some DIY's, patterns and recipes. Some other things about me are, I love to go ice skating and swimming. I adore the beach and the sun, which is quite ironic looking at where I'm living, I love to craft, such as crochet and embroider, (and no I'm not an old granny, I just like the idea of being able to make something myself for half the price it would be if I had to buy it in the store), and I'm vegan. But please don't get any wrong ideas, I'm not one of those crazy people who is all like, 'NO THE ANIMALS MUST LIVE' and 'DEATH! YOU'RE ALL EATING DEATH!'. And no, I do not look down upon everyone who eats meat and makes them feel VERY uncomfortable when they're trying to eat their lunch. I'm cool with everyone so no pressure, although I'm feeling it now. *clears throat once more* Anyway, as I have already stated, I'm not quite sure what I'm going to be doing with this blog, so any ideas will be good ones, and I guess I'll just have to wait and see where the wind blows me. I am both nervous and excited to be starting this blog and feedback and support would be greatly appreciated! Keep staying beautiful!
